Our team of design engineers are experienced in capturing highly accurate point cloud data and providing reverse engineered solutions using various surfacing techniques. By reverse engineering a product you can take ownership of the design and manufacture allowing you to stay in control of your own production and maintenance schedules.
Using Co-ordinate Measuring Machines and SOLIDWORKS design software we can reverse engineer your existing component, ﬁxture, tooling or assembly to generate a solid CAD model which can be used to modify or manufacture the component, often improving the functionality.
Laser scanning post production inspection and analysis is a tool for design and manufacture comparison. We can compare the part to the nominal CAD model using a surface tolerance topography, in addition to part to part analysis. Do you have a part but no model ? We can collect point cloud data and reverse engineer it to produce a model.
